Not all of us can apply makeup as well as some artists can which is why a typical makeup application may end u looking something like this (left image). Now although there are many issues we can address (going far beyond makeup) I ask that you try your best and narrow in on the eyeshadow. Chances are you know which colors go well with you (eyes and skin tone) If not do some research and you will have ruled out the artistic taste part of makeup application.
